'Heart of the One Heart' - Shamanic Healing Retreat Weekend
24th (afternoon), 25th and 26th April
A weekend of retreat into nature and personal stillness in the magnificent surroundings of the Sierra de las Nieves. This long weekend will be part of the global focus on the Return of the Ancestors. There will be both morning and some evening group work, but you will also have ample time to pursue your personal quest, with our guidance if required. There will be an emphasis upon meditation and in sharing healing techniques with one another. We expect to include
- Working with local mountain herbs, e.g. making tinctures and massage oils
- Use of crystals for meditation and healing
- Methods of Shamanic cleansing for you to explore in safety
- Body energy balancing using the rainbow colours from light
This weekend is part of a longer Holistic Shaman Training.
Heart of the Earth - 3 Day Residential Shamanic long weekend
5th (afternoon), plus 6th and 7th June
Find or renew your shamanic path by joining us for a holistic shamanic experience. We will base our weekend around the Seven Directions of the Maya Medicine Wheel. Honouring the Heart of the Earth is one of these directions - thus we begin with our mother. We learn how to enter and work with the large medicine wheel on our land. Different directions of the wheel enable deep experiences with the 'Spirit of the Land':
- Experience illuminating solar energies in the East
- Learn how animals, insects and birds communicate
- Find your appropriate totem animal to guide you through use of the direction of North
- Touch into ancestral wisdom from the direction of West
- Develop your creativity and connectedness with Great Father Sun through the direction of the South
- Discover yourself at the Center - your nagual self and realise a new meaning to dreaming
- Intone sounds of power and journey within our Cave of Transformation
- Understand the pulse of Maya time leading us through the sacred calendar (known as the T'zolkin) and taking us back to Source
- Drumming journeys and dance to fly like an eagle to the 'Heart of the Sky'. (We do not use artificial stimulants)
- Profound ancestral teachings on this ancient land in order to be a 'walker between the worlds' and link the beginning of this world we live in with predicted global changes
Enjoy time for rest and relaxation in hammocks under shady pine trees, exploration of the flower covered mountainside where eagles soar and good company in a 'living in tribe' experience.
This weekend is part of a longer Holistic Shaman Training.

Our tribal instinct is to 'belong' in some way to a community of people where trust & cooperation replace the otherwise stressful way many of us find ourselves living.
Based on 30 years experience in a rural eco- orientated organic food producing community and with our experience of the Findhorn Foundation, Scotland, this presentation and workshop is tailored for those wanting to improve their carbon footprint, live sustainably, in harmony with each other and nature.

We focus on the prophecies from 'Turtle Island' (North, Central & South America) and in particular their relevance to our times as we rapidly approach year 2012. and its connection to the Maya Long Count calendar.

Colour and Sound in Nature

At this time of the year, Nature bursts into life expressing itself in colours and sounds. At invitation to join us in our peaceful mountain retreat to take time out from our busy routines. Mikhail will share some of his wisdom and teachings about the Natural World.- An opportunity to explore our finer senses
- Be still and meditate in a natural setting (in the Cave of Transformation)

Course Costs:
During the courses you are welcome in our private eco house as a guest and your contribution to teaching and vegetarian food is as follows. (Air flights and transport from airport not included. Please ask for details.)
The shamanic courses provide participants with an ecologically based 'living in tribal community' experience including communal decision taking and assisting with day-to-day chores.
Shamanic Weekend Course Costs
Shamanic weekends start on Friday evenings at 5pm and end on Sunday afternoon at around 6pm. Your contribution to teaching is €120 which includes 2 lunches & 2 dinners but is non residential. However camping or accommodation can be arranged at small extra cost. (Please enquire, as there is space for camping or simple accommodation on our land, which must be booked in advance)
All courses & workshops are taught in English. Translation into Spanish, by prior arrangement.
Reservations to secure your place can be made with a deposit of Euros 40 (non returnable less than 2 weeks prior to course).
Courses are limited to a maximum of 13 participants
